PRESS RELEASE: IAA Leases Facility

PRESS RELEASE: IAA Leases Facility

With the Grace of God, the Indonesian American Association (IAA) has signed a lease for a facility. Located in Gaithersburg, MD, the facility will enable us to expand our Food Access program to assist with food insecurity concerns many people in our community are facing.

Powered by grants from Montgomery County and Fairfax County, IAA has been trusted to receive these grants for capacity building and organizational sustainability during the Covid-19 pandemic. We thank Montgomery County Healthcare Initiative Foundation and Fairfax County for trusting us, and we thank all the organizations for their collaboration with and all the volunteers who have helped IAA with its Food Access program.

As the Covid-19 pandemic is still going on, IAA is committed to continue supporting all of our communities, especially the Indonesian American community, overcoming this challenging and difficult time.

We ask everyone to continue supporting IAA and our programs via volunteering and contributing, as it is with your support that we all can thrive for we are all in this together.

We hope this facility will serve as a stepping stone for many more IAA programs and our mission to continuously develop and empower the Indonesian American community in the DMV area.

Happy Thanksgiving, Thank You and God bless us all.
